Use a simple weekly layout
Lift Monday and Thursday, and walk, cycle, or swim on two or three other days. Easy aerobic work can also follow lifting.
Put the priority first
If strength is the main goal, lift before hard intervals. If an endurance event is the goal, some key aerobic sessions should happen while fresh.
Avoid the all-hard week
Most cardio can be conversational. Combining maximal lifting, frequent intervals, and a calorie deficit creates a recovery problem, not a superior plan.
